Data and Software:  Sweeting & Associates utilizes several publications for comparable sales research as well as on-line computer information systems to access tax assessor records.  Additionally, we utilize current single family, 2-4 family, condominium and land form report software manufactured by ala mode, inc., with the most current AI Ready forms.

Principal:  Kara Lea Sweeting, principal of the firm, has a BA of Interior Design thru the school of Architecture from Louisiana State University.  She is a licensed state certified residential real estate appraiser as well as a licensed, registered Interior Designer.  Ms. Sweeting's extensive construction background provides additional insight when appraising new construction and/or from plans and specifications.  Additionally, Ms. Sweeting is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute and as such is committed to the highest standards in education and professionalism in the industry.
